Gwen Matthews is an international recording artist,producer, singer, songwriter and vocal arranger who got her start right here in the Twin Cities singing advertising jingles for local and national companies including Northwest Airlines, General Mills, and Whirlpool.

Gwen has recorded with Stevie Wonder, Kenny Rogers, members of Earth Wind and Fire and more. Her career has taken her from New York to LA, and all over the world. She has performed at the famed “Montreal Jazz Festival” in Canada, and the “Fleur de France Festival” in Paris, and she has been featured in concerts throughout Europe. She toured Russia with “Women Who Cook” and also traveled internationally with the Rupert’s Orchestra.

Gwen has been recognized with numerous awards and nominations, including by the Minnesota Music Awards’ “Best Female R&B, Gospel and Jazz Vocalist” the Minnesota Black Music Awards twice. She gives back by serving as a music educator, teaching vocal mastery classes and workshops, as well as private lessons and coaching.
